Turning Mats
There are 6 main types of turns while installing ThermoTile™. Under no circumstance should the main heating wire be cut, only the fiberglass mesh.
| When cutting mats, ONLY cut the fiberglass mesh, NOT the Heating Wire. |

common turns:

- rotate mat 180° and continue row.
Full Corner -- This is used to make a sharp turns.
- Cut fiberglass mesh all the way across with out cutting the heating wire.
- Rotate mat 90°.
- Flip rotated part of mat over.
Open Corner -- Used to make a turn where heating the corner is undesired or unnecessary.

- Rotate mat 90°.
Rounded Corner -- Fan Cut, used to make a round turn or where heating the corner is undesired or unnecessary.
- Make 4 cuts in a row, on the same side, through the fiberglass mesh without cutting the heating wire.
- Maneuver the wire so that each section is in angled though the turn.
- Example: for 90° turn, the 1st section would be angled about 22°, 2nd 45°, 3rd 67°
